    Ultimate Care for your plants

    • Fast Installation, save up to 90% installation time

Thanks to CYC innovative Self-Locking System, With just a few taps of the hand, the two panels automatically lock together and cannot be separated.

Depending on the product, installation time can be as short as 1 minute.

      • No tools needed
      • As little as 1 minute installation time
      • One person enough
    • No-Weld Construction

Removing one of the most vulnerable points in outdoor metal products.

Welding is widely used in traditional metal planters and outdoor structures, but welded areas can become potential weak points when exposed to moisture, fertilizer, soil, and changing outdoor conditions.

CYC designs selected products without conventional welded joints wherever possible.

    • Let Roots Breathe. Keep Soil in Place.

Small ventilation holes around the base promote airflow to the root zone, while a breathable nonwoven fabric liner helps retain potting soil without blocking air or drainage—supporting healthier roots from the ground up.

    • Full Interior Waterproof Protection

A durable HDPE liner fully covers all interior metal surfaces and seams, creating a protective barrier between the metal structure and the soil and water inside. This helps prevent moisture, soil, fertilizers, and other corrosive elements from reaching the metal itself, providing long-lasting protection against internal corrosion.

    • Root Heat Protection

Metal surfaces exposed to intense direct sunlight can become extremely hot. CYC adds a 1-inch insulating foam layer between the exterior metal panels and the inner HDPE liner, helping reduce heat transfer into the soil and protecting roots near the planter walls from excessive heat.

    • More Stable Soil Temperatures

The built-in insulation helps slow down rapid temperature changes inside the planter. Soil stays cooler during hot daytime conditions and retains warmth longer as temperatures drop, creating a more stable environment around the root zone.

    Frequently Asked Questions

How do I care for the interior liner of my CYC garden bed?
For CYC models with an HDPE liner, keep sharp tools and objects away from the liner during filling and planting. Check that it is positioned according to the assembly instructions and that drainage remains clear. If you notice a tear or leak, contact support@cycoutdoor.com with your model details before attempting a repair.
How long does a Corten steel planter take to develop its patina?
The rust-colored patina develops gradually with outdoor exposure. Timing and color vary with rainfall, humidity, sunlight and wet-dry cycles, so a uniform finish is not immediate or guaranteed. Follow the CYC care instructions for your model before using any rust accelerator or sealer.
Can I move my garden bed or planter after filling it?
Choose the final location before adding soil. Filled beds and planters can be very heavy, especially after watering. Empty the soil before moving unless the model is specifically designed to move while loaded. Do not drag the planter or lift it by a trellis, rim or decorative panel.
Will a Corten steel planter stain my patio or deck?
Rust-colored runoff can stain concrete, stone, wood and other surfaces, especially while the patina develops. Choose a location with good drainage and protect nearby finishes before exposure to rain or watering. Do not assume staining will completely stop once the surface has weathered. This guidance applies to Corten steel models.
Can I place a garden bed or planter on a patio, deck or balcony?
Check that the model is suitable for your surface and that excess water has a clear path away. Plan for the total weight of the planter, wet soil and mature plants; confirm the load capacity before using a deck or balcony. Protect surfaces from moisture and soil runoff. Corten steel also needs protection against rust staining.
How much soil do I need to fill my garden bed or planter?
For a rectangular planting area, multiply the inside length by the inside width by the intended soil depth. Measurements in feet give cubic feet; divide by 27 for cubic yards. Allow for liners, inserts and space below the rim for watering. Use planting depth rather than overall product height, and allow for some settling after watering.
What soil should I use in a raised garden bed or planter box?
For an open-bottom bed on soil, use a well-draining raised-bed mix with mature compost. For a planter with a base, choose a quality potting mix formulated for containers. Avoid filling a container with dense garden soil alone, which can compact and restrict drainage. Match the mix to your plants' needs.
How do I choose the right garden bed or planter size?
Start with your plants' mature root depth and spacing, then measure your available space. Check the usable planting depth, not just the overall height, especially for models with an insert or raised base. Leave enough room to reach plants comfortably and walk around the bed.
